Zakopane 2023: Other Activities
We visited Zakopane during the winter and there are loads of activities and adventures to keep you entertained. Whilst we have written blogs about some of the bigger attractions and adventures, here a a list of some of the other activities that we enjoyed…
Krupowki Street
Krupowki Street stretches for approximately 1 kilometre through the heart of Zakopane. It ranks among the most famous streets in Poland. The pedestrianised street is lined with restaurants, hotels, bars as well as shops selling everything from sportswear to luxury fashions.

The View Observation Wheel
Situated just off Krupowki Street, this Ferris Wheel was a fun ride offering great views over the surrounding area. We rode it at night, and whilst it was very pretty all lit up, I expect the views would be better during the day.
Be Happy Museum
The Be Happy Museum is a must visit for anyone who is a fan of taking selfies and having fun with photos. There are multiple scenes with accompanying props to help you stage that perfect Social Media post!
You can book a 1 hour slot through their website or do as we did and simply turn up hoping there is space.
Sledging
We bought a cheap sledge for approximately £4, and it was probably the best money we spent all holiday!
In Dolna Rowien Krupawa Park there were two large mounds of snow which were perfect for sledging. We visited several times and had great fun here both during the day and later on at night!
Myszogroad
Myszogroad (or Mouse Garden in English) is a unique attraction with over 1,000 mice. The mice are living in a variety of creative scenes.
We enjoyed watching the mice in a variety of situations such as clambering all over a pirate ship, driving a train or flying UFO’s to the moon.
Good value for money!
Zakopane Sign
Zakopane’s answer to the Hollywood sign can be found in Dolna Rowien Krupawa Park.
Impressive as a wooden structure during the day or lit up by LED strips at night. This 3 meter high wooden sign is a “must visit” location for your souvenir photograph.
